**Humza Yousaf Threatens to Sue Musk, and Musk Responds: “I Dare This Creep”**
Former Scottish Prime Minister Humza Yousaf, along with his lawyer Aamer Anwar, has warned American billionaire Elon Musk of potential legal action as their dispute continues. This comes after Musk criticized the former official, accusing him of racism against white people.
In response, the owner of the “X” platform posted on Sunday, describing Humza Yousaf as “extremely racist against white people” and added, “I dare this creep to sue me. Come on, make my day…”.
**The Beginning of the Dispute**
The dispute between the two men began on Friday afternoon when the Tesla owner took to his social media platform “X” to describe Humza Yousaf as “extremely racist.”
The insult came after Yousaf labeled the Tesla businessman as “the most dangerous man” in the world and accused him of spreading misinformation online.
The two had previously clashed over controversial hate crime legislation due to its potential negative impact on freedom of expression.
**Musk Criticizes an Old Speech by Yousaf**
Musk, who has also criticized the Labour Party government for its response to the riots in the United Kingdom, commented on a “notorious” video of a speech by the former Prime Minister about George Floyd in Holyrood.
In this video, Yousaf attacked the Scottish public sector for filling all senior positions with white people.
Musk wrote, “He is extremely racist. Scotland gave him everything, yet he hates white people. It’s clear because he has never complained about the racial composition of any other country’s leadership. There are over 200 countries in the world, most of which have homogeneous leadership. Why does he only attack Scotland?”
**Considering Legal Action**
Meanwhile, British media, including the “Sunday Mail” newspaper, reported that Yousaf has not ruled out taking legal action regarding these comments and is “considering all options.”
His lawyer, Aamer Anwar, said, “Anyone using social media, even if they own the platform and believe that freedom of expression is absolute in either the United Kingdom or the United States, needs to think again.”
He added, “Freedom of expression comes with responsibility, and if you break the law, there will be consequences, as we’ve seen in recent days. Elon Musk has made Humza Yousaf his target with his unacceptable, incorrect, and controversial comments.”
