**Trump: If Harris Doesn’t Accept My Debate on Fox News, I Won’t Debate Her Ever**
Former U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he has decided to challenge Vice President Kamala Harris on Fox News. He confirmed that if she refuses, he will never debate her.
Writing on the Truth Social platform today, Saturday, Trump said, “I’ll see her on September 4th or not at all,” adding, “It’s well known that she’s the worst Vice President in history.” He continued, “Kamala Harris does not have the mental capacity to conduct a real debate against me, which is scheduled for September 4th in Pennsylvania. She is afraid of doing it.”
Trump said in a series of posts late on Friday that his agreement to debate on ABC on September 10th “is over” because he won’t face Democratic President Joe Biden, who ended his campaign last month after a disastrous performance in their first debate.
Trump also mentioned that he will appear on Fox News on September 4th in Pennsylvania under rules he described as “similar” to his debate with Biden, but with a full audience instead of an empty studio.
He asserted that if Harris, the potential Democratic nominee, does not agree to the new channel and date, he will hold a “large town hall” with Fox News.
In response, Michael Tyler, a spokesman for Harris, said that Trump is “running scared and trying to back out of the debate he already agreed to and running straight to Fox News to save him.”
Tyler stated that Harris is committed to the timeframe and will appear “one way or another to seize the opportunity to speak to a national audience during prime time.”
It remains unclear whether ABC will turn its September 10th event into a town hall for Harris in the absence of Trump.
