**Trump: Biden’s Policies Have Made America a Failing Nation**
Former U.S. President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump stated that President Joe Biden’s policies have turned America into a failing nation. In a press conference at his golf club in New Jersey, Trump described the Biden administration and Vice President Kamala Harris as “incredibly unsuccessful,” attributing rising prices and inflation to Harris and Biden’s ideas.
Trump warned that if Harris were to win the presidency, economic collapse would follow, claiming her policies have made the U.S. economy resemble those of communist countries. He accused Harris of representing the far-left ideology that has taken over the country. Trump emphasized that he left behind a strong economy without inflation, but under Biden’s administration, American jobs have been stolen and given to illegal immigrants, and conflicts have erupted in the Middle East and Ukraine. He also criticized the Democratic Party’s actions against Biden as a “shameful coup.”
### Two Televised Debates
In parallel, Harris’s campaign announced on Thursday that it will hold two televised debates with Trump, while the candidates for vice president will face each other once, in an effort to settle the ongoing debate over this issue. The candidates had previously agreed to one debate on September 10 and another between their running mates on October 1. However, Trump’s campaign has pushed for two additional debates in September and another confrontation between the vice presidential candidates.
CBS Network reported on Wednesday that it offered four potential vice-presidential debates in September and October to Tim Walz, Governor of Minnesota, and Senator J.D. Vance of Ohio. The candidates had agreed on the October 1 debate, which comes after early voting begins in several states, but Vance proposed a debate before that on September 18, which CNN had offered to host. Vance had earlier told Fox News that he would not participate in “one of these fake debates… that have no real audience.”
ABC News will host the debate between Harris and Trump on September 10, after the former president had previously declined, citing a legal dispute with the network’s executives.
