### The White House: The Attack on Majdal Shams Was Carried Out by Hezbollah
The White House has reported that the United States holds the Iranian-backed Lebanese group Hezbollah responsible for the rocket attack that resulted in the death of twelve children and teenagers in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights yesterday.
Adrienne Watson, the spokesperson for the U.S. National Security Council, stated in a statement, “This attack was carried out by the Lebanese Hezbollah. It was their rocket launched from an area under their control,” adding that the White House has been in ongoing discussions with Israeli and Lebanese officials since the attack occurred.
She also added, “The United States is working towards a diplomatic solution along the Blue Line that would put an end to all attacks permanently and allow citizens on both sides of the border to return safely to their homes.”
Earlier, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken emphasized that he does not want to see an escalation in the conflict following the rocket attack on the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, and he accused Hezbollah of being responsible for it.
Blinken mentioned that Washington is in discussions with Israel regarding the Golan attack, and the indicators suggest that Hezbollah is the one who launched the rocket.
#### Iranian-Made Rocket
It is worth noting that Israel accused Hezbollah of being responsible for the rocket strike on the town of Majdal Shams in the Golan on Saturday, vowing to respond swiftly.
They pointed out that a rocket had landed on a football field in Majdal Shams, which is predominantly inhabited by Druze, resulting in the deaths of twelve children and teenagers aged between 10 and 16 years.
Additionally, the Israeli army revealed that an Iranian-made rocket carrying a 50-kilogram warhead was fired by Hezbollah at Majdal Shams.
However, Hezbollah has denied responsibility for the attack.
