**Saudi Red Crescent Air Ambulance Transports First Patient from Rafha to Qassim**
The Command and Control Center of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority successfully facilitated the air transport of a critical patient from Rafha Hospital in the Northern Borders Province to King Fahd Specialist Hospital in the Qassim region. The patient received intensive care during the flight, supported by a fully equipped medical team, until safely arriving at King Fahd Specialist Hospital in Qassim.
This marks the first case in this route, made possible through coordination between the Red Crescent branch in Qassim, the Ministry of Health branch in Qassim, and the Qassim Health Cluster.
It is worth noting that the air ambulance in the Qassim region was named “Wadi Al-Rummah” during its inauguration by Qassim Governor Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz.
Khaled Al-Khadr, Director General of the Red Crescent branch in Qassim, emphasized the importance of responding to such critical medical emergencies through coordination and cooperation with all relevant entities, with the primary goal of ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, leading to positive health outcomes.
