### Russia: American Rocket Launcher Destroyed in Kherson Using “Iskander-M”
In the ongoing war, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of an American-made “M270A1” rocket launcher near the Novotroitskoye area in Kherson province, using the “Iskander-M” tactical missile system.
In a statement issued on Monday, the ministry said: “The Russian forces’ Iskander-M tactical missile system launched an attack on an American-made M270A1 rocket launcher in the Novotroitskoye area. As a result of the missile strike, the launcher, an accompanying vehicle, and approximately 15 Ukrainian soldiers were neutralized.”
Prior to this, the ministry announced that Moscow had destroyed 39 Ukrainian drones overnight.
The Russian ministry stated on Telegram that air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 19 drones over the Kursk region, nine over the Belgorod region, three over the Voronezh region, and five over the Bryansk region, all of which border Ukraine.
Additionally, three other drones were neutralized over the Leningrad region near St. Petersburg (northwest), according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
